Critical Peak Pricing
Any customer can still change their mind and switch rates between TOU and No Control between May 1 through May 25. Customers must call and make this request by May 25. After June 1, our summer wholesale power demand charges and critical peak hours begin. Therefore, we can't allow a 'No Control' customer to switch to TOU because they may have caused a wholesale power demand billing. However, TOU customers can always switch mid-season to 'No Control' by paying the higher minimum annual charge and the $60.00 trip charge to r e-program the meter.
